Editorial Policy
The rules our desk follows when writing trading education and platform research, and the claims we will not make under any circumstances.
1. Independence
Our editorial decisions are made solely by the Financial Markets Research Team. No platform, broker or commercial party reviews our content before publication or influences its framing. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or officially connected to Fjord Markets or any other platform we discuss.
2. Sourcing
- Platform statements are attributed to publicly available material, never presented as our own verification.
- Market mechanics are explained from established, widely documented industry practice.
- Where a fact can only be confirmed by the provider, we say so and direct readers to verify it themselves.
- We do not reproduce promotional copy as if it were research.
3. Claims we do not make
4. Accuracy and review
Every guide is checked for internal consistency, terminology accuracy and the presence of a proportionate risk statement before publication. Research files are re-read on a scheduled basis and updated when market conventions, terminology or platform categories change. The revision date shown on each page reflects the last substantive review.
5. Corrections
If a factual error is identified, we correct it promptly. Substantive corrections — those that change the meaning of a claim — are noted rather than silently amended. Typographical fixes are made without notation.
6. Commercial policy
We do not sell coverage, placement, ranking or favourable language. No platform can pay to be included, excluded, praised or criticised. If a commercial relationship ever exists in future, it will be disclosed prominently on every affected page before the content is read.
7. Risk-first writing
Educational content about leveraged markets carries an obligation to state risk with the same prominence as opportunity. Our guides show loss scenarios alongside gain scenarios, and the risk management guide is treated as a prerequisite rather than an appendix.
8. Scope of the platform research
Our Fjord Markets review is an educational analysis of a platform category applied to a named example. It is not an endorsement, a warning, or a substitute for the platform's own published terms, which readers should always consult directly.
