Who we are
About Us
Fjord Markets Research Desk is an independent editorial project covering trading education, market structure and platform research — including research about the Fjord Markets trading platform.
Why this site exists
Retail traders are surrounded by promotional material and short of structural explanation. We started this desk to publish the second kind of content: careful, plainly written education about how markets and trading platforms actually operate, and a consistent framework for examining any platform a reader encounters.
What we do
- Publish educational guides on currency markets, digital assets, charting, risk and behaviour.
- Maintain platform research files applying one fixed evaluation framework.
- Explain terminology and market mechanics in language a beginner can verify.
- Document the limits of our own research openly.
What we do not do
- We do not provide trading, brokerage or investment management services.
- We do not accept deposits, hold funds or operate trading accounts.
- We do not give personalised financial advice or recommendations.
- We do not publish ratings, awards, testimonials or performance claims.
- We do not accept payment in exchange for coverage or favourable framing.
The editorial desk
Content is produced by the Financial Markets Research Team, a small editorial group with backgrounds in market-structure writing, documentation analysis and trading education. We are writers and researchers, not licensed advisers, and we hold no financial advisory authorisation. Where a question requires regulated advice, readers should consult a qualified professional in their own jurisdiction.
How we work
Our sources, criteria and correction process are documented in the research methodology and editorial policy pages. The main worked example of the framework is the Fjord Markets review.
Contact
Corrections, clarifications and factual challenges are welcome and are handled through the process described in our editorial policy. We publish corrections rather than quietly editing substantive claims.
